A 78 r.p.m



Se edita de forma limitada en disco de 78 r.p.m. las dos canciones que Tom Waits grabó el año pasado para el último disco de la Preservation Hall Jazz Band: Tootie Ma Was A Big Fine Thing y Corine Died On The Battlefield.

Los beneficios derivados de la venta se dedicarán a la Preservation Hall Junior Jazz & Heritage Brass Band.

Se prensarán un total de 404 copias numeradas y firmadas por el director creativo del Preservation Hall, Ben Jaffe, a un precio de 50 dólares.

100 de ellas formarán parte de un pack deluxe que incluye un tocadiscos con un precio total de 200 dólares.

Podrá comprarse a través de la web de Preservation Hall Jazz Band o en el mismo local de Nueva Orleans.

Ricardo III en Amsterdam

Fortune, de Lawrence Ferlinghetti


Apenas se ve nada, pero he aquí la actuación de Tom Waits de hace unos días en el homenaje a Lawrence Ferlinghetti en San Francisco. Al menos el sonido es aceptable...

Se trata de una nueva adaptación de un poema de Ferlinghetti con Marcus Shelby al contrabajo.
