Todo parece indicar que el 24 de julio será finalmente la fecha de lanzamiento del triple CD de rarezas Orphans. Coincidiendo con la fecha dada por la distribuidora australiana Shock, la noruega Bonier Amigo Music incluye ahora el mismo anuncio en la lista de próximos lanzamientos de su página web.
A la espera de ver en qué acabará convirtiéndose exactamente Orphans, allá va una de las muchas joyas que el señor Waits ha dejado desperdigadas por ahí sin molestarse en incluirlas en ningún disco oficial.
Walk Away fue publicada, junto a The Fall of Troy, en la banda sonora de Dead Man Walking (Cadena Perpetua, 1995), pese a que ninguna de las dos canciones aparece en la película. Walk Away fue interpretada en directo en algunos conciertos de la gira de Real Gone (en una versión irreconocible, por supuesto), y parece que lo más lógico y razonable sería que acabase apareciendo en Orphans.

Bueno, eso es lo que se dice por ahora...
Ya veremos en qué acaba la cosa y qué acaba entrando y qué no.
Lo que está claro es que no tendría ningún sentido que fuese un simple doble cd. Triple es lo mínimo. Hay material para llenar tranquilamente seis o siete discos.
